The Plateau State Police command, yesterday, paraded the  woman who, last week, stole a seven-day old baby in Bokkos Local Government Area and her accomplice who had faked a pregnancy to con her husband for seven months.

Parading the two alongside other suspects, state Commissioner of Police Mr. Chris Olakpe, said the housewife, Chundung Lagi Jugu, allegedly colluded with Elizabeth Zakari to steal the baby boy whose mother was on admission to justify the fake pregnancy.

South African Government has announced the death of Nelson Mandela. South African president Jacob Zuma announced that the former president and anti-apartheid revolutionary passed away peacefully in the company of his family in his home in Johannesburg around 8:50 this evening Dec. 5th. He was 95 years old.

The Conoil filling station opposite NNPC Towers along Herbert Macaulay Way, Abuja, went into flames on Thursday as a tanker discharged the 33,000 litres of petrol it delivered.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the fire started at about 3 p.m., forcing offices around the petrol station to close.
